Sleep Deprivation Symptoms
Hello:
With my busy and hectic routine of modern living, sleep deprivation or sleeping disorders became a prevalent health problem. Each year, millions of people complain of experiencing sleep deprivation symptoms. The disturbing fact about sleeping deprivation is that it can severely and negatively affect health if left untreated. Most of the people suffering sleep deprivation symptoms suffer in silence and remain undiagnosed. To immediately find cure sleep deprivation, one must be wary about his symptoms.
Health complications, lifestyle and medication side effects are the common culprits of sleep deprivation. Although this condition are caused by a number of factors, its general symptoms include irritability, tiredness or fatigue, poor concentration and memory, behavioral or social problems, blurred vision, poor appetite and intolerance to activities.
The incessant feeling of tiredness will make you inefficient and ineffective at work. As you become sapped of energy, small tasks easily become too big for you to handle. If you suddenly become unusually socially inept or become almost too quickly affected by any amount of stress or pressure and you feel that the whole world is on your shoulders, these are tell-tale signs of behavioral problems related to sleeping disorders. Since lack of sleep prevents your brain and body from getting enough rest, you are likely to suffer poor concentration and experience memory loss. Severe sleep deprivation impairs cognition, memory and mental concentration. Lack of sleep often takes toll on most sleep-deprived individuals. It makes them irritable and constantly feeling tired. If you feel anger or near hatred to the people around you and you notice that you easily snap at trivial mistakes, immediately consult your physician.
If you are experiencing two or more of these sleep deprivation symptoms, immediately talk to your health care provider. It would be wise to keep a log of your common symptoms and situations like diet and medications, which can affect your sleeping habits. This should be helpful in diagnosing your sleeping disorder and determining the best treatment to solve your sleeping problem.
